First Day of School

Happy to say that we made it to school this morning with no meltdowns, issues, or drama!! The boys were actually excited to go back...mostly just to see their friends :). It was raining this morning so the boys didn't have stand outside and line up like they normally would which kind of threw Caden for a loop but they were both fine once inside. Hope they have a wonderful first day! Can't believe I have a 1st & 2nd grader!!

What to do, what to do???

Since Saturday was such a nice day (well except for the wind blowing like crazy) the boys spent most of the day outside. Since we still haven't gotten pea gravel in the play area yet it was still quite muddy so the boys found the one dry area and decided to...well...be boys! They explained to me they were digging for bones! Here they are hard at work.

They really were NOT happy that I asked them to stop for a quick picture!!

However...Sunday we woke up to a cold, snowy, and windy day...GOTTA LOVE WYOMING WEATHER!!  So needless to say, the boys were stuck inside with NOTHING TO DO! Eventually they let their imaginations get the best of them and decided to build a fort in Caden's bedroom...with a little help from mom of course.

I came across these pictures earlier while I was searching our computer. These were taken in Cody at Loren's parent's rental house last summer.

First day of school

Better late than never....I know the first day of school was about 3 weeks ago but here are a couple of pics.

There was way too much going on around us for them to stand still and actually look at the camera!
Colten and his buddy Conner waiting in line for the whistle to blow.

Meeting our little sister

Tuesday afternoon Loren went to pick the boys up from school and brought them to the hospital to see Alli and I. They were pretty excited!! They both took turns holding and kissing her. We have to keep our eyes on Caden at ALL times...he thinks he can just pick her up whenever with NO help!
