Update

So it's been a couple of months since I've posted anything....I'm sure that doesn't surprise most of you! Well I'll start with our little Alli (aka Missy or Alli Cat).  Alli is now 9 months old! WOW!! She has 4 teeth and has taken over the roll of little miss biter. For some reason it's only me that she bites! She has also mastered the army crawl and will soon be crawling I'm sure. She does get up on all 4's and rocks but hasn't taken off yet. Missy has also discovered that the kitchen drawers open and finds it quite fun to pull all the ziplock baggies out of the boxes. She loves to chase the dog while in her walker and run over whoevers feet happen to be in the way. She still does not sleep thru the night and I've pretty much come to accept it...some day she will...right? Her new favorite foods are cottage cheese, vanilla wafers, Honeycomb cereal, and banana bread. I've been trying to get her to drink out of a sippy cup...some days are better than others. Usually she justs wants to bite on it!  She now weighs about 18 or 19 lbs and seems so tall! She goes in for her check up in a few weeks so we'll see. I've passed on many boxes of clothes that are too small for her....seems never ending. She is now in 12 month clothes!!

Hard to believe that Caden will be in 1st grade this fall!! Here is his spring kindergarten picture. He's growing into such a big boy!! He is playing T-ball this year and really liking it. His favorite position is catcher or 1st base. He can't wait to move up to barn ball with the pitching machine. Some of his other favorite activities are kickball, football, basketball & playing Star Wars.

Colten is going into 2nd grade! AMAZING!! He is playing barn ball and throughly enjoys it! He was picked to attend summer enrichment this year. He really likes school and was so excited to go. His best buddy was also picked so that made it even better!! Colten is growing like a weed...before I know it he'll be as tall as me. Some of his favorite things are basketball, football, baseball, computers & playing DS.

Guess this is as good as it gets!!

Well I see it's been over a month since I've updated...where does the time go? Seems like alot has happened since then so here goes....

The end of February all three kids were sick. Needless to say it was not a fun couple of weeks for me! Caden had influenza, Colten seemed to just have a cold, and little Miss Alli ended up in the begining stages of RSV. The RSV test came back negative but the doctor said if I wouldn't have brought her in when I did, we probably would of ended up in the hospital. We ended up doing breathing treatments for about a week. She did really well with the first couple treatments but after that she had had enough! I ended up having to do them after she fell asleep so she would hold still.

Here she is trying to hold it all by herself...actually she was probably getting ready to pull it away!

In other news...the end of February our dog, Nala, had knee surgery. It's so hard to justify your dog having a surgery like that but we are so glad we did. She really is such a good dog and she's only a year old! She's healed wonderfully and is pretty much back to her old tricks! Here she is 3 days after surgery...not looking too happy!!

And here's Caden....
He's growing sooooo fast and getting soooo big! He's really enjoying kindergarten and already talking about 1st grade! It's amazing how much they learn so early in school now. I was always worried that he would have the hardest time adjusting to school which has NOT been the case at all! He's for sure his OWN little guy and with his OWN ideas!

Colten also is growing like a weed...he will soon be as tall as me and he's only in 1st grade! He absolutely LOVES school! He has not been happy with how much school he has had to miss being sick. He's had alot of strep throat this year so April 18th he will be having his tonsils out. He's actually happy he's having it done. We'll see what he thinks when it actually happens!

And our little Miss Alli....she is 6 months old now...WOW!! Her first little tooth has popped thru...thank goodness! She was a grumpy little thing!! She had her 6 month checkup on Wednesday and all is well. She's in the 70th percentile for her height and 40th percentile for her weight. She's trying to sit on her own but hasn't quite gotten it yet. She also has started rubbing her face into the floor with her bottom in the air...army crawling may be in our near future. She is still fighting the whole sleeping thing. She has been doing better at night but during the day she only sleeps for about 20-30 minutes at a time. I know this will pass...or at least I hope so! :)

Thanksgiving 2010

This year it was our turn to have Thanksgiving with my family. We had it at our house this time. Mom, dad, Marshall, Tiffany, Dillon and our good friend Andy were all able to come over. We enjoyed primerib, crab legs, cheesy mashed potatoes, aspragus, corn, rolls and of course pie for dessert! Unfortunately I only took TWO pictures...YES ONLY TWO PICTURES THE WHOLE DAY!!

It was really nice to be able to get a picture of all 5 kids on my side and they are all looking, well, except Miss Alli!
